Washington, D.C. – Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) released the following statement after the House Democratic Steering Committee nominated Congresswoman-elect Cori Bush of Missouri, Congressman-elect Mondaire Jones of New York and Congresswoman-elect Deborah Ross of North Carolina for appointments to the House Judiciary Committee in the 117th Congress. The nominations will now head to the full Democratic Caucus for approval.

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) sent a letter to Deputy Attorney General Jeffrey Rosen, who is expected to become Acting Attorney General following the departure of Attorney General Barr, requesting that he rescind the execution orders for the three individuals whose executions have been scheduled to take place in January.
