January 6: Five Years Later
For the fifth anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol, Judiciary Democrats released two new reports and a fact sheet examining the careers of the coup plotters versus the defenders of democracy, the public safety consequences of President Trump’s mass pardons, and the evidentiary record of the insurrection.
These materials serve to counter the ongoing effort to whitewash history and provide the public with a clear accounting of the diverging trajectories of those involved in the attack.
