The Members of Congress filed an amicus brief in American Historical Association v. Trump, a lawsuit brought by historians seeking to preserve White House papers and electronic messages for the American people.

Jamie Raskin, Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee, expanded his investigation into Jared Kushner’s staggering foreign conflicts of interest and corrupt business dealings after Kushner failed to respond to the Committee’s previous demand for records concerning his simultaneous work as a U.S. foreign policy official and a foreign government-funded private investor. The expanded investigation follows explosive reporting that Kushner paid more than $120 million for disputed land in Albania to a suspected gangster and drug trafficker despite being warned that the seller did not own the property, as Kushner pursued a luxury resort project benefiting from extraordinary concessions by the Albanian government.
