Washington, D.C. – Late yesterday, House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) filed the Committee's report accompanying two articles of impeachment charging President Donald J. Trump with abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The report details the case for Impeachment and will inform the House of Representative's consideration of the Articles.

The filing of the report by the Judiciary Committee is customary. Similar reports were completed during the impeachments of President Nixon and President Clinton.

Yesterday, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship Chair Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) applauded House passage of H.R. 5038, the Farm Workforce Modernization Act. This legislation offers stability for American farms by providing a temporary status to current farmworkers with an optional path to a green card. The bill also addresses the nation's future labor needs by modernizing the H-2A temporary visa program, while ensuring fair wages and fair workplace conditions for all farm workers.
