The House Judiciary Antitrust Subcommittee will hold a hearing on Tuesday, July 16th at 2:00 p.m. to examine the impact of market power of online platforms on innovation and entrepreneurship. The Subcommittee will hear from two panels of witnesses, including representatives from Google, Amazon, Facebook, and Apple, as well as leading policy experts on competition in digital markets.

On July 16, 2019 at 10 a.m., the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism and Homeland Security will hold a hearing on women and girls in the criminal justice system. This hearing will address the expanded percentages of women entering the criminal justice system nationwide, and the issues faced by women at all stages of the criminal justice process, including pretrial, sentencing, and post-conviction in the federal and state systems.
Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chairman Adam Schiff (D-CA) announced an agreement with Special Counsel Robert Mueller to reschedule his public testimony for Wednesday, July 24, at which time Special Counsel Mueller has agreed to appear for an extended period of time.
