El Paso, T.X. – Today, House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) delivered the following statement at a Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship hearing on "Oversight of the Trump Administration's Border Policies and the Relationship Between Anti-Immigrant Rhetoric and Domestic Terrorism:"

Washington, D.C. (Sept. 6, 2019)-The House Committee on Oversight and Reform and the House Committee on the Judiciary sent a series of letters requesting documents and other information regarding multiple efforts by the President, Vice President, and other Trump Administration officials to spend taxpayer funds at properties owned by the President in potential violation of the Constitution's Emoluments Clauses.

TOMORROW, Friday, September 6^th, 2019, the House Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on Immigration and Citizenship will hold a field hearing in El Paso, TX focusing on conditions along the southern border and the violence aimed at immigrant communities.

Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced the Committee has served a subpoena on the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for documents relating to the President's multiple alleged attempts to offer pardons to officials carrying out his illegal and cruel immigration policies.
