“From its inception, the so-called “Election Integrity Commission” was a farce created to justify President Trump’s ridiculous and unsubstantiated claims that he lost the popular vote in the presidential election due to voter fraud.  By all intents, it appears the Commission’s true purpose was to facilitate voter suppression.  In scrapping the Commission, the Administration essentially acknowledges its mistake and seeks to avoid litigation around their voter suppression efforts.  It is imperative that we address the very real issue of voter suppression and continue to work to protect voting rights throughout our country.”
