WASHINGTON, D.C. – House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler today issued the following statement after President Biden unveiled a comprehensive plan to expand opportunities for formerly incarcerated persons:

Successful reentry programs are critical to breaking the cycle of crime in our communities and providing economic security to thousands of formerly incarcerated people. I commend President Biden and Vice President Harris for putting forward this comprehensive reentry plan.”
