Chairman Nadler Announces Committee Print for Full Committee Markup of Build Back Better Act

Washington, D.C. - Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) announced the committee print for the Committee markup on Monday, September 13th at 10:00 AM on legislative proposals under the budget reconciliation instructions. "Next week, the Judiciary Committee will take an important step towards delivering on House Democrats' historic agenda," said Chairman Nadler. "The Judiciary Committee's portion of the Build Back Better Act makes pivotal investments in community-based violence reduction and human infrastructure that reflect our commitment to a stronger U.S. economy and a vibrant future for all Americans. EDT WHERE: Congressional Auditorium (CVC-200) Washington, D.C. WATCH: The markup will stream live here. NOTE: The Committee on the Judiciary is following guidelines developed in consultation with the Office of the Attending Physician (OAP) and the House Sergeant at Arms. Current guidance from the OAP states that in all House Office Buildings, the Hall of the House, and House Committee Meetings, wearing of a well-fitted, medical grade, filtration face mask is required when an individual is in an interior space and other individuals are present. The general public will not be allowed to attend in person, however, the markup will be streamed live. |
