Chairman Nadler Sends Letter to White House Regarding Impeachment Inquiry

Washington, D.C. – Today, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler (D-NY) sent a letter to the White House regarding the formal transmittal of the Select Committee on Intelligence’s Trump-Ukraine Impeachment Inquiry Report and additional transmittals received from investigative Committees.

Below are excerpts from the letter to the White House:

“Pursuant to…H. Res. 660…I am furnishing you copies of reports, records, and other materials committees having custody of records or other materials relating to whether sufficient grounds exist to impeach President Trump have transmitted to the House Judiciary Committee pursuant to H. Res. 660.”

“A limited number of the materials in (iii) contain sensitive materials, such as personally identifiable information. After consulting with Ranking Member Collins, I determined that the sensitive material should be deemed to be held in executive session…this portion of the materials…is being furnished to you for review in our Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) at a mutually convenient time.”
